Indian Government officially Declares Red Fort Blast as Terrorist Attack

New Delhi — The Indian government has officially declared the recent Delhiblasts, which claimed at least 13 lives and left dozens injured, asa terroristattack orchestrated by “the enemy of the country.”

According to official statements released late Tuesday, initialinvestigations have revealed what authorities describe as “clear signs ofa coordinated act of terror.” Security agencies have reportedly foundevidence suggesting foreign involvement, further intensifying the alreadytense atmosphere between India and Pakistan.

Union Home Minister, while addressing the media, said that “those behindthis heinous act will not be spared”, emphasizing that India is determinedto “expose and punish every hand that supported this act of terror.”

The blasts, which rocked several busy areas of Delhi, have reigniteddebates over national security and cross-border militancy. This incidentcomes at a time when relations between India and Pakistan are alreadystrained due to a series of border skirmishes and diplomatic exchanges inrecent weeks.

Analysts say this latest development could further deteriorate the fragilepeace efforts between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. Political observerswarn that if the investigation officially traces links across theborder, Indiamay take strong diplomatic or even military measures.

Meanwhile, heightened security has been deployed across all major Indiancities, and intelligence agencies have been put on high alert.

The victims’ families have called for swift justice, while oppositionparties are urging the government to strengthen domestic counter-terrorismstrategies and review intelligence coordination failures that might haveled to this tragedy.
