Islamabad — Inspector General (IG) Islamabad has confirmed that up to 8kilograms of explosives and ball bearings were used in the recent attackat the Judicial Complex in Islamabad.
Speaking to the media, the IG stated that investigations are underway totrace the handler behind the attack, as both a motorcycle and a carhave been marked as suspicious in connection with the incident.
He added that forensic evidence and CCTV backtracking are beingutilized with the help of Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and SafeCity cameras to identify those responsible.
The IG further said that security agencies are reviewing all availableevidence, including digital and physical clues, to ensure that thoseinvolved are brought to justice.
