Security forces have carried out a successful intelligence-based operation(IBO) in the Shawal Valley of Waziristan, leading to the discovery of alarge cache of weapons and ammunition from a terrorist hideout.
According to official sources, the operation was launched followingcredible intelligence reports about the presence of militants and theirconcealed storage site in the area. During the raid, security personnelrecovered a significant quantity of locally and foreign-manufacturedweapons, explosives, and ammunition.
The recovered arms included automatic rifles, grenades, improvisedexplosive devices (IEDs), and other military-grade equipment, which werebelieved to be intended for use in terrorist activities aimed atdestabilizing the region.
Authorities stated that the operation demonstrates the continued resolve ofPakistan’s security forces to eliminate terrorist infrastructure and ensurelasting peace in Waziristan and surrounding tribal districts.

The area has been cordoned off for clearance operations to prevent anyremaining threats, while efforts continue to identify and apprehendindividuals linked to the seized cache.
