Security forces successfully foiled a major terror plot in Dasht,Balochistan, following a credible intelligence-based operation (IBO)conducted in the area, according to official sources.
During the operation, terrorists belonging to the FAH group, traveling in avehicle, opened fire on the security team, leading to an intense exchangeof fire. As a result, two terrorists were killed on the spot, while theirvehicle was seized.
A thorough search of the vehicle led to the recovery of two suicidejackets, two pressure plates, and two drums filled with IED explosives,which were reportedly intended for a major terrorist attack.
The operation marks another significant success in the ongoingcounterterrorism efforts across Balochistan, where security forces continueto target militant networks and their facilitators.
Authorities confirmed that the recovered material has been secured, and asearch operation is underway to trace any remaining accomplices in the area.
The security forces reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating the menaceof terrorism, stating that “such sacrifices and precise operations willcontinue until complete peace and stability are achieved in the region.”
