LAHORE: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Jati Umra onSaturday, where he met with former Prime Minister and PML-N President NawazSharif, along with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister shared details of his recent foreignvisits and gave a comprehensive briefing on the situation in Azad Jammu andKashmir (AJK). He highlighted the successful negotiations that helpedrestore calm in the region.
The Prime Minister is set to leave for a two-day official visit to Malaysiaon Sunday, following an invitation from Malaysian Prime Minister AnwarIbrahim.
According to sources, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has also extended aninvitation to Nawaz Sharif to visit Malaysia. The PML-N supremo appreciatedthe gesture and said he would consider visiting at a suitable time.

Meanwhile, party insiders revealed that the PML-N leadership has agreed togradually resolve differences with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) throughmutual consultation, in a bid to strengthen political cooperation.
