First ‘Blood Moon’ of the Year to be Visible in Pakistan: Check Date and Time

ISLAMABAD- The Pakistan Meteorological Department has announced that thefirst Blood Moon of the year will be visible in Pakistan on the nightbetween September 7 and 8.

According to ARY News, a total lunar eclipse will occur, causing the Moonto appear red in color — a phenomenon commonly referred to as the BloodMoon.

The eclipse will begin on September 7 at 8:28 PM, with the partial phasestarting at 9:27 PM. The event will reach its peak at 11:12 PM, when theMoon will appear the darkest and most striking shade of red.

The partial lunar eclipse will end at 12:57 AM, while the completeconclusion of the celestial event will occur at 1:55 AM on September 8. Theentire eclipse will span 5 hours and 27 minutes.

The spectacular sight will not only be visible in Pakistan but also acrossmost parts of the world, including Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, thePacific, western North America, eastern South America, India, Bangladesh,China, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.

Astronomy enthusiasts and sky watchers are eagerly awaiting the event, asit will mark one of the most significant celestial spectacles of the year.
