*Bangor, Maine — August 25, 2025*A tragic accident occurred at Bangor International Airport on Monday when asmall Cessna aircraft crashed during its landing attempt, authoritiesconfirmed.
According to early reports, the plane went down shortly before noon whileapproaching the runway. Emergency response teams, including fire and rescueunits, were immediately dispatched to the scene. Thick smoke was visiblefrom nearby areas as crews worked quickly to extinguish the flames andsecure the crash site.
Officials have not yet released details on the number of passengers orpossible casualties. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and NationalTransportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched an investigation todetermine the cause of the crash.
