WhatsApp is working on a new and practical feature for Android users thataims to enhance the voice calling experience. The update was spotted in thelatest beta version *2.25.23.21* by WABetaInfo, a reliable source forWhatsApp developments.
With this feature, if a WhatsApp call goes unanswered, the caller will seean additional option alongside *“Call Again”* and *“Cancel.”* The newbutton, *“Record Voice Message,”* will allow users to instantly send anaudio note to the recipient without leaving the call screen or navigatingback to the chat window.
This button will also appear in the chat thread of the contact who missedthe call, making it faster and more convenient to leave a quick message. While WhatsApp already offers the ability to send voice messages, the newoption is designed to save time and improve communication, especially inurgent situations.
Currently, the feature is available only to a limited group of betatesters. WhatsApp and its parent company Meta have not yet made an officialannouncement regarding its public rollout.
