Beijing — The Chinese Foreign Ministry has reiterated that relationsbetween Pakistan and China are of a historic nature, with both countriesdetermined to further strengthen their longstanding partnership.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, China and Pakistan are not onlyclose friends but also trusted partners on key regional and global issues.The spokesperson confirmed that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi isscheduled to visit Pakistan in the coming days — his second visit in threeyears — a move being regarded as a significant diplomatic step.
During the visit, discussions will focus on enhancing strategic ties,expanding practical cooperation, boosting regional coordination, anddeepening collaboration at the international level. Beijing emphasized thatthe visit reflects China’s firm commitment to advancing bilateralcooperation with Pakistan.

The ministry also recalled that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharifpaid an official visit to China in June last year, while the President ofPakistan visited Beijing earlier this February.
