In a recent statement, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning described China and Pakistan as “ironclad friends and all-weather strategic cooperative partners,” underscoring their “solid strategic mutual trust and frequent high-level exchanges” as distinctive features of their bilateral ties.
