With Concerns in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh Pledge to Enhance Political and Economic Cooperation

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Saturday reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh across political, economic, and cultural fields.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Bangladesh’s High Commissioner to Pakistan, Mohammad Iqbal Hussain Khan, where both sides reviewed bilateral relations, the regional situation, and opportunities for media collaboration.

Attaullah Tarar expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of ties, emphasizing that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with Bangladesh. He noted that high-level visits and cultural exchanges had added a new dimension to bilateral relations.

Highlighting the role of media, the minister stressed that collaboration in film, television drama, and digital platforms would enhance people-to-people connections and promote a constructive regional narrative.

The Bangladeshi envoy reaffirmed his country’s commitment to deepening relations, underlining that the historic bonds of friendship between the two nations would remain enduring.
