COAS Asim Munir Sends Strong Warning to India without Mincing any Words

RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Asim Munir extended warm Independence Day greetings to the nation, emphasizing the need for unity and reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.

In his message, the army chief stressed that the greatest strength of the armed forces lies in the trust and confidence of the people. “The Pakistan Army stands fully prepared to confront any threat. We will never compromise on our independence or sovereignty,” he asserted, vowing a resolute response to any challenge to national integrity.

Paying homage to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s founding fathers, Field Marshal Munir described the country as a resilient fortress of the Muslim world and a beacon of interfaith harmony, while also recognizing the valuable contributions of minority communities to national progress.

Reflecting on the fight against terrorism, he acknowledged Pakistan’s immense human and financial sacrifices and reiterated Islamabad’s principled stance on the Pulwama incident, calling once again for an impartial international investigation. He also accused India of aggression and targeting civilians, citing the recent Marka-e-Haq operation as proof of the bravery and resolve of Pakistan’s forces.

The army chief reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm support for the people of occupied Kashmir, stressing that the right to self-determination is the only just solution. Extending solidarity to the Palestinian cause, he urged the international community to uphold their rights without further delay.
