New Delhi: Yashwant Shinde, former spokesperson of Rashtriya SwayamsevakSangh (RSS), has made a shocking revelation, accusing the RSS and BJP ofbeing involved in alleged terrorist activities in India. He claims thatHindu extremist organizations not only plan terrorist attacks to malignMuslims but also receive protection at the state level for these attacks.
Shinde alleged that the 2006 bomb blast in the city of Nanded, Maharashtra, was actually a failed bomb-making attempt orchestrated under the control ofthe RSS, which resulted in multiple casualties. According to him, theseincidents were not mere accidents but part of an organized terroristnetwork aimed at falsely implicating minorities in terrorism charges.
According to Shinde, the RSS network was preparing bombs to target a mosquein Aurangabad. He claimed that a senior RSS member, Andresh Kumar, personally invited him to participate in these terrorist plans.
He further revealed that RSS workers like Rakesh Dhawade and Ravi Deo (alsoknown as Mathan Chakravarty) were training people in bomb-making, andRakesh regularly brought new recruits to the training camps for thispurpose.
Yashwant Shinde expressed surprise that despite revealing all details andnaming the culprits, the Indian judiciary has remained a silent spectator. He said this silence actually reflects government patronage, which promotesterrorism under the Hindutva ideology.
Shinde explicitly accused the Modi government and RSS of sponsoring stateterrorism under the Hindutva ideology. According to him, false charges areimposed on Muslims while the real terrorists are given protection, and theextremist network enjoys backing at the government level.
These revelations have sparked new debate over the rising religiousextremism and allegations of state terrorism in India. For internationalhuman rights organizations, the United Nations, and global media, this is aserious matter that calls for independent and transparent investigations.
