*Islamabad – August 10, 2025:*A high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates visited the DefenceExport Promotion Organization (DEPO) in Pakistan as part of efforts toexplore avenues for strengthening bilateral defence cooperation.
During the visit, officials from Global Industrial & Defence Solutions(GIDS) provided the UAE delegation with a comprehensive briefing onPakistan’s latest defence and security products. The presentation showcaseda range of indigenously developed technologies, including advancedsurveillance systems, tactical equipment, and integrated defence solutions.
The UAE delegation showed keen interest in Pakistan’s defence manufacturingcapabilities and expressed a desire to further evaluate the potential forfuture defence procurements. Discussions focused on enhancing defence tradeand exploring opportunities for joint ventures in the defence productionsector.
Officials from both sides emphasized the importance of continuedcollaboration to strengthen regional security and strategic ties. The visitis seen as a positive step toward deepening military-industrial relationsbetween Pakistan and the UAE.
