Islamabad to Host Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue with Chinese Foreign Minister arrival in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Islamabad is set to host an important round of thePakistan-China Strategic Dialogue later this month, reaffirming thedeep-rooted bilateral ties between the two countries. Chinese ForeignMinister Wang Yi will arrive in Pakistan to participate in the high-leveltalks, leading the delegation from Beijing.

The Strategic Dialogue is part of a regular mechanism aimed at reviewingand enhancing bilateral cooperation under the framework of the *All-WeatherStrategic Cooperative Special Partnership*—a term that reflects theenduring, time-tested relationship between Pakistan and China.

According to official sources, the full spectrum of the Pakistan-Chinarelationship will be on the agenda. This includes strategic and politicalcooperation, regional and global developments, defense and security ties,and progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which remainsa cornerstone of bilateral economic collaboration.

Officials from both countries are expected to exchange views on peace andstability in South Asia, the evolving security situation in Afghanistan,and increased collaboration at multilateral forums such as the UnitedNations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

This visit by Foreign Minister Wang Yi also comes amid a renewed push byboth nations to accelerate ongoing development projects under CPEC PhaseII, which focuses on industrial cooperation, agriculture, science andtechnology, and socioeconomic development.

The Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue underlines the mutual desire tofurther strengthen their longstanding partnership and coordinate responsesto emerging regional and global challenges.
