On the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the first consignmentof 100 tons of relief supplies from Pakistan will be sent to Palestine onSunday evening.
The National Disaster Management Authority has made all arrangements inthis regard.
The 100-ton consignment, carrying relief supplies like food items andmedicines, will be transported via a special flight from Islamabad toAmman, Jordan.
It is pertinent to mention that under the Prime Minister’s instructions, atotal of 1,715 tons of aid has so far been sent to Palestine.
Today’s consignment marks the 17th relief shipment from Pakistan to Gazaand Palestine.
