ISLAMABAD: An explosion on the railway track near Shikarpur injured oneperson, causing three coaches of the Jaffer Express to derail.
According to the Divisional Transport Officer (DTO) of Railways, the JafferExpress was traveling from Peshawar to Quetta when it met with an accidentnear Sultanpur due to an explosion on the track. Following the blast, trainoperations have been suspended.
Railway officials stated that it may take up to 10 hours to restore thetrack. Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice ofthe explosion on the track and ordered an investigation.
