Rawalpindi / Islamabad, 26 July 2025 — Pakistan today hosted the Regional Chiefs of Defence Staff Conference in Islamabad, bringing together senior military leadership from the United States, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The event marked a landmark moment in regional security cooperation and strategic dialogue.
Under the banner of “Strengthening Bonds, Securing Peace,” the multilateral summit focused on reinforcing collective security partnerships, improving counterterrorism collaboration, advancing joint training efforts, and sharing best practices across defence and crisis response domains.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), Chief of Army Staff, formally received the distinguished defence delegations. In his opening remarks, he reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to peace, regional stability, and constructive engagement:
“In an era defined by transnational threats and complex hybrid challenges, the imperative for deeper military-to-military cooperation, strategic dialogue, and mutual trust is paramount. Pakistan remains fully committed to working with partner nations to build a secure and prosperous regional environment.”
