Pakistan Tour of West Indies: PCB Announces T20 and ODI Squad

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the white-ball squads for the upcoming tour of the West Indies, which includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three T20 Internationals (T20Is).

Mohammad Rizwan will continue to lead the ODI side, as the national selection committee named a 16-member squad for the three-match series. The ODIs will be played on August 8, 10, and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

Right-handed batsman Hassan Nawaz is the only uncapped player in the ODI squad. Star players Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi have also returned to the 50-over format.

Pakistan will begin the tour with a three-match T20I series against the West Indies, scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3 at Central Broward Park and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA.

All-rounder Salman Ali Agha will captain the T20 team. Fast bowlers Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Shaheen Shah Afridi have returned to strengthen the pace attack.

Following the conclusion of their three-match T20I series in Bangladesh, the team is scheduled to arrive in the United States on Sunday, July 27.
