The Official Secrets Act’s special court, tasked with handling the ciphercase, adjourned the hearing at Adiala jail this Saturday without anyproceedings. The case revolves around a diplomatic document, as per theFederal Investigation Agency’s charge sheet, which alleges that Imranfailed to return it.
The PTI asserts that the document contains a threat from the United Statesto remove Imran as the prime minister.
In today’s hearing, the only notable attendees were former premier and PTIChairman Imran Khan, along with former foreign minister Shah MehmoodQureshi.
The legal representation included Imran Khan’s counsels, Prosecutor ShahKhawar, Advocate Zulgarnain Abbas Naqvi, Special Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi,and FIA’s legal team.
