On Thursday, gold rates in Pakistan remained unchanged, holding steady atRs221,000 per tola, despite a marginal increase in the international rate,which rose by $2 per ounce.The 10-gram gold price stood at Rs189,472, maintaining parity with theprevious closing, as reported by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers SarafaAssociation (APGJSA). In the global market, spot gold experienced a 0.2%decline, reaching $2,041.19 per ounce by 0927 GMT.Bullion has seen a 2.8% increase this month, following a 7.3% rise inOctober. Meanwhile, US gold futures for December delivery dropped 0.3% to$2,041.70. Silver registered a 0.1% dip to $24.98 per ounce but was ontrack for its second consecutive monthly gain, whereas platinum decreasedby 0.6% to $926.76.
Palladium recorded a 2% decline, reaching $1,006.73, and was set for itssecond successive monthly decrease.
