Pakistan Test team captain Shan Masood suffered an injury before the tourof Australia. During the Pakistan Cup match between Karachi Whites andMultan at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed andShan Masood collided while running to catch a ball.
While Sarfaraz Ahmed escaped unharmed, national team captain Shan Masoodsustained an injury.
Shan remained on the ground for a while, holding his ankle and expressingvisible pain. Later, he had to leave the field due to the injury.
