All coaches of Pakistan team including Director Mickey Arthur being fired

Following a lackluster performance by the Green Shirts in the ICC World Cup2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering significant changesin leadership. This includes the potential removal of team director MickeyArthur, head coach Grant Bradburn, and batting coach Andrew Puttick.

Sources suggest that the PCB is leaning towards appointing local coaches totake charge of the national side. Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of the PCBManagement Committee, is set to meet with captain Babar Azam and other teammanagement members in the coming days.

This meeting is scheduled before Ashraf departs for India on November 17,where he will participate in an ICC meeting.

Reports indicate that during these discussions, Ashraf will closely examinePakistan’s performance in both the Asia Cup and the recently concludedWorld Cup. Despite being the 1992 champions, Pakistan fell short of makingthe semi-finals, concluding their campaign with a fifth defeat in ninematches against holders England.

Amidst the disappointing performance, there are speculations about BabarAzam contemplating stepping down from the captaincy, particularly inwhite-ball cricket.

The 29-year-old has sought advice on his future, consulting with former PCBchairman Ramiz Raja and other close confidants.
