A military aircraft of the United States reportedly crashed during atraining operation in the eastern Mediterranean, according to the USEuropean Command (EUCOM) on Saturday. The statement from EUCOM did notprovide specific details about the type or origin of the aircraft.
The crash occurred on the evening of November 10. Although the statementdidn’t disclose the fate of the crew, EUCOM clarified that the trainingsortie was solely for training purposes, with no indications of hostileactivity. The cause of the mishap is currently under investigation.
