Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed senior member of theselection committee, Tauseef Ahmed, as the interim Chief Selector.
According to ARY News, after the resignation of Inzamam-ul-Haq from theposition of Chief Selector, PCB has appointed Tauseef Ahmed as the interimChief Selector. PCB has stated that Waqar Younis will be the interim JuniorChief Selector.
According to PCB, the members of the National Selection Committee, WasimHaider and Waqar Younis, have been retained. PCB has assigned theresponsibility of team selection for the Australia tour to Tauseef Ahmed,while Waqar Younis has been appointed as the Junior Chief Selector for teamselection during the Junior National Team tours.
