Project of 3 billion dollars has been approved for the rehabilitation offlood-affected areas.
According to the details, the Ministry of Planning has approved projectsworth 3 billion dollars for the rehabilitation of flood-affected areas. Atotal of 21 development projects have been approved under the supervisionof the CDWP.
The projects are ongoing successfully in various provinces of Pakistan,especially in Sindh and Balochistan.
The Ministry of Planning states that last year, more than 30 millioncitizens were affected by floods, resulting in an economic loss of 30billion dollars to Pakistan.

Pakistan has also received promises of 10 billion dollars in aid at theGeneva Convention, and a steering committee is working on theimplementation of these projects.
