In Islamabad, there are reports of the former federal minister, FawadChaudhary, being apprehended at his residence, as indicated by statementsmade by his wife on a social media platform, formerly known as Twitter.
On Saturday morning, Hiba Fawad Chaudhary posted a message saying, “FawadArrested and taken to an unknown place.” This claim was also confirmed byFawad’s brother in discussions with the media. The details surrounding thearrest are currently unclear, and Fawad Chaudhary’s current location hasnot been disclosed, causing concerns for his family and supporters.
Fawad’s wife has mentioned that they are unsure about his whereaboutsafter the arrest and are seeking information and assurance regarding hiswell-being.
Notably, the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad had recently grantedpre-arrest bail to Fawad Chaudhry until November 13 in a case related tothe violation of Article 144.
