Three more soldiers of Pakistan Army martyred in IBOs

Two separate security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in thekilling of two terrorists, while three soldiers martyred on Friday,according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

In a statement issued by the military’s media wing, it was reported thatthe first operation took place in the Rori area of Dera Ismail Khandistrict, and it was intelligence-based. During this operation, oneterrorist was eliminated, and two others sustained injuries. The slainterrorist was identified as Usama, a member of the outlawed TTP, and he wasa suicide bomber planning a high-profile attack in the region.

In a different operation carried out in Lakki Marwat district, anotherterrorist was neutralized, and numerous terrorist hideouts were discovered.

Tragically, during these operations, an exchange of gunfire with terroristsresulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers. The fallen soldiers wereidentified as Naik Zafar Iqbal, aged 37, from Gujranwala district, andSepoy Haji Jan, aged 30, hailing from Gilgit Baltistan’s Ghizer district.

Additionally, an improvised explosive device detonated in the Kulachi areaof Dera Ismail Khan district, leading to the martyrdom of Havildar ShahidIqbal, aged 39, who was a resident of Mirpurkhas district.
