KARACHI: Senior leader of Pakistan People Party and membr of National Assembly Makhdoom Amin Fahim has died in Karachi in local hospital. He was a spiritual leader of “Sarwari Jamaat”.
As per details, he was suffering from blood cancer for a long period and admitted in a private hospital of Karachi where he breathed his last. Fahim was also taken to Berlin, Boston and London for medical treatment but he could not survive.
He was born in August 1939 in Hala, Fahim belonged to an influential feudal family. Fahim also had a great services for Pakistan as a politician. Fahim was also unbeatable from his constituency and won all the elections of national assembly and became seven times members of National Assembly.
Fahim’s body is being transported to his hometown of Hala, where his funeral prayers will be offered in the afternoon. People from political and social fields expressed their deep grief over the death of Amin Fahim.
PM Nawaz also expressed his sorrow on the death of Fahim and said he was a great politician.
