LAHORE: Experienced Indian actor has arrived in Lahore to participate in the continuing Faiz International Festival. He will pay tribute to the greatest poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz in his visit. Seven members including his wife Ratna Pathak were also present with him.
While talking to media, Shah said he has always received warm welcome from people of Pakistan. He came in Pakistan to build a friendly relationship between both countries. Faiz was also supporter of peace between India and Pakistan.
He further stated that people of both sides wants cordial relations between India and Pakistan. Artist can play their role to promote peace between both countries. “Opportunities like these are great for artistic exchange,” he added.

The Festival is being held at Alhmara Art Gallery and Flatties Hotel Lahore where Nasser ud Din will perform his four plays. Other theater actors have also arrived in Lahore. A number of events including thirty literary discussion, four theatre performance, poetry session, five books launches, five musical and two dances performances will be held during four day festival.
