WASHINGTON: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif met US National Security Adviser, Susan Rice in White House.
According to ISPR, COAS General Raheel Sharif had an important meeting with US National Security Adviser, Susan Rice at White House, where they exchanged their views over territorial integrity and reconciliation issues of Afghanistan were discussed during the meeting.
They stressed the early resumption of the reconciliation process to achieve lasting peace in Afghanistan, which is critical to peace and stability in region,”
“The US National security adviser said that president Barak Obama appreciated Pakistan’s contributions in the war on terror. US wants to further the growing relationship,”
Whereas, According to DG ISPR Asim Salim Bajwa, General Raheel would reach Brazil on his three-day official visit after completing his visit to United States.
