ISLAMABAD: Joint Investigation Team has once again summoned Sarfraz Marchant (Thursday) in Pakistan to probe into allegations of RAW funding against MQM.
Sources claimed that Joint Investigation Team has formally started its work on the allegations of RAW funding against MQM. JIT led by head of anti-terrorist wing of FIA Mazhar ul Haq Kakakhail is probing into the allegations.
Sources further claimed that JIT has contacted Sarfraz Marchant and summoned him Pakistan again. Sarfraz expressed his conditional willingness to come to Pakistan saying that he is ready to come to Pakistan if security is provided to him.
It is also worthy to mention here that JIT had been formed by government to probe into the allegations against MQM.
JIT would review the statement of Sarfraz Marchant and present its report within one week.
