ISLAMABAD: ICC has announced to replace the venue of Indo-Pak cricket match, scheduled at Dharamshala on March 19. The match will be played between both teams at Kolkata Eden Garden.
As per details, ICC Chief Executive Dave Richardson was addressing a press conference here at Wednesday regarding Indo-Pak cricket match. He said that the venue of Indo-Pak match has been changed due to security concerns while the decision of venue changing has been taken with mutual consultation.
He further added that ICC is fully aware about the importance of Indo-Pak match so the security of the players is the priority of ICC. India assured foolproof security of Pakistani cricket team for every match of Pakistan while PCB and Pakistani government have been informed regarding the change of match venue.
ICC Chief stated that those cricket fans who got Indo-Pak match ticket, their tickets will be refunded to them and if they want to get Kolkata ticket then they will issue new ticket keeping in view their old tickets.
