ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif witnessed joint military exercises of Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka in National Counter-Terrorism Training Centre here at Pabbi.
As per ISPR, while speaking at this occasion Army Chief said that terrorism is an international concept and terrorists have no religion and boundary. Pakistan is also victimized of terrorism and rendered a lot of sacrifices to fight against terrorism.
The menace of terrorism can be eliminated with the help of nation’s unity and professionalism of armed forces. Army Chief added that several countries have requested to train their arm forces after seeing the successes of operation Zarb-e-Azab.
Pakistan is ready to share his experiences for the betterment of humanity. These exercises will be helpful to combat terrorism in the region and enhance the relations with Maldives and Sri Lanka. Army Chief stated.
