KARACHI: Severe downturn was being observed in Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as it fell by 1200 points during trading session on Monday.
As per details, Pakistan Stock Exchange hundred index was present at 31 thousand points on the first day of the trading week but downturn was observed on the commencement of trading session.
Hundred index reduced to 29,785 points by the reduction of 1216 points. On the other hand, Karachi Stock Exchange MD Nadeem Naqvi said that downturn in market is a result of action against Stock Broker Aqeel Karim.
He added that downturn in Asian markets and crude oil price are also impacting on market but he expressed his hope that positive changes will appear in PSX in coming days.
