ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar has directed NADRA to make databank of international NGOs and reviewed the registration process of NGOs in Pakistan.
As per details, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar chaired a meeting in Islamabad. NECTA Chief, Chairman NADRA and FIA officials were attended the meeting. The meeting approved new policy regarding the verification of citizenship.
The notification of new policy has been issued by interior ministry. According to the notification the embassy will write letter to the interior ministry instead of foreign ministry.
The aim of new policy is to provide relief to thousands Pakistanis who are facing problems in Qatar, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. Interior Minister also directed to finalize SOPs regarding the deportees.
He added that the record of people desiring Pakistan’s visa also needs to be computerized.
Interior Minister also directed forming a clear policy for rewarding performing police, FC and FIA officials with cash awards so that they can be encouraged to work even better.
