KARACHI: Dr. Asim Hussain, who is facing mega corruption charges, has revealed that weapons were sent to Uzair and Baba Ladla groups through provincial ministers including Zulifqar Mirza, Awais Tappi and Qadir Patel.
As per details, Dr. Asim in his confessional statement said that he provided shelter to the accused over the fear of arrest. Special instructions were given to the hospital staff regarding their facilitation.
He further added that Zulfiqar Mirza provided weapons on the orders of the Pakistan People Party leadership.
Dr Asim said that Awais Tappi and Qadir Patel also used to provide weapons to the gang war criminals.
