KARACHI: Oversees Pakistanis have sent remittances amounting to Rs. 17.84 billion dollars in 11 months of current fiscal year.
According to the data released by State Bank of Pakistan here at today (Friday), 5.5% hike has been observed in the remittances sent by oversees Pakistanis in 11 months during current fiscal year.
Economic experts said that remittances have a lot of importance to improve balance of international payments. Volume of remittances may increase if government takes step to reduce cost of sending remittances.
