Panama Leaks Parliamentary Committee meeting ends up at deadlock

ISLAMABAD: Deadlock over the Terms of References persisted as Parliamentary committee 5th meeting has ended without any major breakthrough while Saad Rafique denied to accept any deadlock saying that situation cannot be said deadlock.

As per details, Joint Parliamentary committee 5th meeting was held here at today in Islamabad which could not achieved any major breakthrough in the meeting.

Talking to media after meeting, Khawaja Saad Rafique refused any deadlock saying that it cannot be said deadlock as both sides are moving towards consensus.

He further added that 3 documents have been presented by government side while opposition presented one document during meeting while opposition TORs were reviewed during meeting that were found to be against laws.

Opposition rules and regulations against laws were also identified in the meeting, Saad Rafique stated adding that opposition requested to take some time for consultation and suggested to hold next meeting on Tuesday.

On the other hand Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that opposition wants to resolve the issue of Panama leaks and making all possible efforts to reach on consensus over Terms of References to probe into Panama leaks revelations.
