WAH CANT (APP): Taxila Police on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of liquor and narcotics from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Punjab and arrested one drug trafficker.

According to DSP Taxila circle Sajid Gondal acting on a tip-off, a police party intercepted a Suzuki van on Hattar road and during search 1,000 bottles of liquor and 2.50 kilogram of charas was recovered from the possession.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
