In Syria, at least eighteen people have been killed and many injured in missile and suspected chlorine gas attacks in Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the United Nations’ top aid official has said a three-hour truce announced by Russia to deliver aid to Aleppo would not be enough to meet needs of civilians.
The United Nations has called for 48-hour weekly pauses for the aid deliveries. On the other side, clashes are intensifying between both sides around the city’s southern regions for control of the city.
