ISLAMABAD (APP): Baffled by escalating pro-freedom and anti-Indian protests and rallies, the Indian authorities in occupied Kashmir have decided to curtail the role religious of scholars and clerics in the ongoing Kashmir intifada.
The authorities have directed revenue officials to collect the details about Masjid, their Imams and members of Masjid administration committees, KMS reported.

The officials have also been asked to mention in their records of the Masjid, whether freedom songs are being played on loudspeakers.
“Few days ago, the directions were passed by the authorities to divisional administration to submit details about the Masjids, there location (Area name), name and details of Imam and its executive body,” media reports said.

The orders issued in this regard were not made public and was confined within the officer’s knowledge. A Srinagar-based English daily said that the data will be collected across the Kashmir. “The details will be collected from every district.
