ISLAMABAD: (APP) Maryam Aurangzeb has been nominated as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.
According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Aurangzeb said that she will take oath on Tuesday morning at a simple ceremony in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif in a tweet message congratulated Maryam Aurangzeb and said that she is one of the most dynamic and diligent team member of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Maryam Aurangzeb has served as PML-N member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since 2013.
She did her graduation from Federal Government College, Islamabad, MSc Economics from Quaid-i-Azam University and MSc Environment and Development from King’s College London and was elected as member National Assembly on a reserved seat for women.

She is currently heading the National Parliamentary Taskforce on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
She is also a member Standing Committee on Climate Change, member Standing Committee on Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage and Chief Organiser of Youth Women Wing Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
She specializes in strategic thinking and planning and development for environmental conservation, development and international agreements and Millennium Development Goals implementation.
She has also served at distinguished positions in WWF-Pakistan.
