Mashaal Malik urges Donald Trump

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Mashaal Malick, wife of All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Yasin Malick, Saturday urged the new United States President Donald Trump to take notice of human rights violations in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) and play his role for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.

Addressing a press conference here, she criticized the Indian Supreme Court for giving a verdict that land in the IHK could be occupied, which was quite unjustified.

Mashaal Malick said the Pakistan government should to establish an international Kashmir committee to raise the voice of the innocent Kashmiris, who were victims of worst brutality at the hands of Indian armed forces, at world fora.

She lauded the recommendation of the United Kingdom parliament for holding a referendum in Kashmir.

She said refugees from West Pakistan were residing in tents in Indian Held Kashmir but their registration was not allowed which created problems for them.

Mashaal Malick said in IHK one armed person was deputed to monitor four citizens which made their lives miserable.

She said Yaseen Malick was once again illegally arrested and she would continue her voice at every forum against that.

She said she would soon start a new struggle for the freedom of Kashmir and for the purpose hold rallies in all the cities of Pakistan to inform the international community of the ground situation in IHK.

Mashaal said the freedom struggle, which had been going on in the Indian occupied valley since 1990, had entered a new phase during last seven months, which would continue till the implementation of UN resolutions.
