FAISALABAD: (APP) Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) team has arrested Inspector Anti-Corruption Saeed Babu Gujjar on the charge of taking bribe of Rs 4.7 million from DFC Muhammad Taufeeq.
A spokesman of ACE said here Friday that during investigation, the allegations against Inspector Anti-Corruption Saeed Babu Gujjar were proved, therefore, he was arrested from Bahawal Nagar.
Meanwhile, in another case, accused ASI Muhammad Saleem was also arrested by Anti-Corruption team.
ASI Muhammad Saleem was accused of taking bribe of Rs 50,000 in a case from a citizen when he was posted at Police Post Rasheedabad.
After investigation, the allegations of bribe against him were proved, therefore, the accused ASI was arrested from Special Investigation Unit Lahore.
