The Federal Government has approved the improvement and dualization of Dera Ismail Khan-Kohat section of the Indus Highway.

Sources of National Highway Authority told our Peshawar correspondent that the highway will be converted into a four lanes carriageway.

The project also includes construction of several bridges to ensure smooth traffic on the highway.

The sources said the project will be completed at a cost of thirty billion rupees in three years.
