ISLAMABAD: Orange Line Metro Train project may get into serious troubles in the Supreme Court of Pakistan as Supreme Court has sunbed the government over the different aspects of the project.
The Supreme Court has decided to hear the case of Orange Line Metro Train Project (OLMTP) on regular basis.
The court in its remarks said that a clear position to change the design of the project has not been adopted.
The counsel for Nespak said that the change in design is perhaps possible but it would increase the cost of the project.
At this, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed said that safety of the citizens also needs to be considered while changing the design.
“Those who don’t like mass transit can go live in a village,” Justice Saeed said.
