Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the government has included the Sustainable Development Goals in its national agenda Vision-2025.
Addressing a function in Islamabad on Saturday, she said reforms have been introduced in education and health sectors to provided best facilities to the masses.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said effective and concrete steps have been taken to counter the wave of terrorism and extremism in the country.
She said Pakistan of today is better than that the past.
Minister of State said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor being acknowledged by the world will bring development and prosperity to the region.
Later talking to media, Marriyum Aurangzeb said general elections will be held on time and be contested on the basis of performance.
The Minister of State for Information said opposition’s designs to held general elections early will not succeed.
The State Minister vowed to create job opportunities for youth in the country.
She said the government has taken cardinal steps to empower women. She said women’s share in Prime Minister’s Health Care programme is sixty percent.
To a question, the State Minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is quite hale and hearty.
