ISLAMABAD  – Pakistan’s highest marathon will be held 4,693 meters above sea level in Karakoram Range on May 24.

The arrangements of this marathon have been done by the joint organization of mountaineer Samiya Rafiq and adventurer Shahbaz Ahmad.

Athletes from all over Pakistan will participate in full marathon course of 42.2 kilometers. Furthermore, half marathon of 21.1 kilometers will also be organized along with races of ten and five kilometers
