SLAMABAD – In yet another revelation Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has denied conducting any inquiry against Sharif family in what comes as a revelation on Tuesday contrary to the popular belief.
Details of the complaints filed by a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) presided over by Additional Director General (DG) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in the apex court on Saturday have surfaced.
Wajid Zia, FIA Additional DG had written to the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) last week about the difficulties being faced by the JIT in probing the first family of Pakistan over corruption allegations.
The top court heard the petitioner on June 12 and details of the complaints made to the SCP have come to light.
